Chief Technology Officer
The Chief Technology Officer will manage three broad tasks with our research and technology team members. The first is refining our current ODK based data collection system and PHP & Angular based data management platform to handle a much larger volume of farmer data. The second is moving our current farmer interaction and outreach system from a solely call center based model to also include an app that farmers can use to access agroforestry training information, interact with our programs, get their program and agroforestry related queries answered and access data on the health of their soil and plantations and also track how they use that information to implement on-field activities to improve their farm health. The third task is to refine our current AI-based remote quantification of tree biomass models. This was built on the basis of DeepForest and was modified to include tree height estimation, tree diameter estimation, measurement of drip irrigation and water quantification systems and measurement of biodiversity. The CTO will also oversee the Implemementation of new measurement and monitoring systems like camera traps and bioacoustic related biodiversity measurements in our current DMRV
VP - Research & Communications
The Vice President - Research & Communications will be responsible for ensuring all field data and knowledge collected in the process of running the day-to-day operations of the organization gets stored and analyzed efficiently. The day-to-day job will involve working with field teams, the call center team, the quality check team and the COO to ensure that data collection processes are streamlined and functioning smoothly. You will also work with the tech team who manages our database and analyzes our drone and satellite imagery. You will also be responsible for supporting research efforts, writing fundraising applications, writing donor reports, creating social media posts, blogs and articles that are able to communicate our work and findings to a wide variety of audiences. You will also work closely with third party principal investigators and impact measurement firms to continuously evaluate our impact and help the operations team incorporate findings into improving program design and refine implementation models.

Chief Operations Officer
The Chief Operations Officer will work out of our office in Pune and be responsible for ensuring all field operations at F4F run smoothly and efficiently across Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka where we currently operate. The day-to-day job will involve working with field teams, sapling, irrigation, soil and compost vendors and government officials. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of finances and ensuring project budgets remain on track. You will coordinate closely with our Chartered Account and Finance teams to ensure compliance with all financial and labor laws. There is significant travel involved in this position. We will only consider applicants able to travel for 50% or more of their time. You will also be working closely with a variety of our funders and partners. This work will involve providing project updates, creating and modifying budgets, creating project reports and analyzing impact and progress data that comes in from the field. You may also be required to represent our work at various conferences, podcasts, news interviews, etc.
Chief of Staff
The Chief of Staff will be based in our head office in Pune and work closely with the founders and senior leadership team to help structure our efforts across information management, funder and partner relations, human resources and operations growth. This position is ideal for someone who is eventually looking to start their own organization or might be interested in taking up a CXO position at F4F in the next few years.
Manager - Human Resources -1

F4F seeks a Manager - Human resources to support its human resources function which includes recruiting, hiring, and training employees; managing employee benefits and compensation, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. The position will be based out of our head office in Pune, Maharashtra. We are looking for passionate, experienced, and skilled individuals who are keen on working on mitigating and adapting to climate change while working closely with some of the most vulnerable communities in India. The Manager - Human Resources will work closely with the co-founders and COO of F4F.

We're seeking someone who has 3 to 5 years of experience working as an HR professional in the development sector. Salary ₹40,000 - 50,000 per month.

Finance & Accounts Manager - 1

Farmers for Forests (F4F) is seeking a Full Time Consultant for the position of Manager – Finance and Accounts. The Finance and Accounts Manager will be responsible for day-to-day finance operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis and will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations along with maintaining accurate financial records. The position is ideal for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience in managing Finance and Accounts.

We're seeking someone who has 3 to 5 years of experience working as an Finance manager. Salary ₹45,000 - 60,000 per month.

Full Stack Developer

Farmers for Forests (F4F) is seeking a full time employee for the position of Full Stack Developer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in front-end and back-end development, with a passion for leveraging technology to address environmental challenges. Full Stack Developer will be responsible for developing user interfaces, managing agroforestry data in the cloud, deploying machine learning models, and supporting various UI-related tasks.

Front End Developer

Farmers for Forests (F4F) is seeking a full time employee for the position of Front-End Developer with 1-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and either Angular or React. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the website, afforestation dashboard, and cookstove dashboard for our carbon credit projects.

VP - Operations
The Vice President - Operations will be based either out of our head office in Pune or at one of our field locations and be responsible for ensuring all field operations at F4F run smoothly and efficiently across Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka where we currently operate. The day-to-day job will involve working with field teams, sapling, irrigation, soil and compost vendors and government officials. There is significant travel involved in this position. We will only consider applicants able to travel or spend at least 80% or more of their time in field locations. You will also be working closely with local implementation partners and our government partners in district administrations and the forest department.
